| I'm supposed to have a life? Who has the time or energy for that? I'm a single mom with two teenagers and live in Texas. I have a real day job, but plan to be a published contemporary romance author. I recently completed my first "really did finish and want to submit" manuscript. I'm in edits now.
I have a BA degree in political science with a minor in history and a Masters degree in Public Administration. My day job is with the Federal government. (Yes, I do work for a living.) I spend a lot of time in Washington, DC.
I have always written something - poetry, technical writing, or a creative piece that remained in my personal journal. I have started and stopped so many manuscripts that I have lost count. Since I'm not getting any younger and the kids are old enough to entertain themselves now, I decided it was now or never.
